Barbro’s Friends, today more than 600, is a broad and far-reaching group of members of the Swedish-American business and culture society. Together Barbro’s Friends contribute to Barbro’s Fund at the Stockholm School of Economics. The purpose of the fund is to guarantee the continued existence of the Female Economist of the Year Scholarship and to promote women leaders in Swedish and international business. The unique access to the experience of Barbro’s Friends is intended to accelerate the careers of the holders of the Female Economist of the Year Scholarship, as well as the rest of the BBB’s. All the members of the Barbro’s Friends Network are invited to the annual Female Economist of the Year ceremony at the Royal Confidence Theatre in Stockholm.
